Brendan Dougherty (Doc-erty)

I have assisted my wife in owning/operating her very successful Hair Salon for over 10 years and have seen how much she enjoys what she does while having the freedom and flexibility of being her own boss. She tried to talk me into doing hair with her... but when it came down to it.... I've just always had a strong connection with dogs. I prefer working with the hounds and will leave the humans to her.

I left corporate America sales December of 2021 in pursuit of this new journey. I worked and trained at a couple of local pet salons while we explored options for opening my own including building on to my wifes existing commercial space, buying a new building for the both of us or me doing a mobile trailer. In the end it worked best for our whole family to build my studio in the basement of our home so that someone was home full time for when our kids are not at school or extracurricular activities.
